It was a productive weekend! The crisp air in the mornings tells the tale of December approaching.
While working on one of the new garden areas, I noticed the kids putting ornaments onto some of the trees, all around the same height and place. It added a touch of innocent childhood to the garden.
I sat back and observed the kiddos running, yelling, playing. I welcomed their input into the garden. I loved seeing the colored bulbs hanging in the trees, not where I would have placed them, but where each ornament became a beautiful contribution that they were proud of.
I ended the weekend with the sound of dancing, and being asked if I would like to learn to dance. I accepted and danced for a few minutes.
It was a beautiful weekend. I was reminded of the way that we heal and learn through play, and that our perspectives change over time. I challenge you to take a few minutes to let loose and play, and find joy in the joy of others.
